This year our audacious vision for Pines to Mines Trail, a new 65+ mile single-track trail is coming to life. We hope to break ground this year on an unparalleled riding experience that will redefine epic across California’s eastern sierra mountains, linking Truckee to Nevada City.
Our 2023 work continues across the Sawtooth Trail Network as well, where new trails will emerge over the summer to expand and integrate the growing walk, hike, run, and ride trail system. What’s that mean for you? Longer sessions across multiple trails with more varied terrain.
This month we invite you to step up to a monthly donation of $25 or more and qualify to join me, TTF executive director, Allison Pedley, for an exclusive in-person Spring Trail Tour and Q&A. You’ll get an on-the-ground, inside look at TTF’s trail development, see firsthand how trails are designed and built, and experience Truckee/Tahoe’s trail system through the eyes of a trail expert.
Over the last 21 years, with help from donors like you, we’ve worked with our partners to transform the Truckee/Tahoe region into a coveted, pristine hiking and biking trails town with world-class views. In parallel, locals can choose to enjoy each day over 180 miles of non-motorized trails, most maintained by Truckee Trails Foundation.
Thank you,
Allison Pedley
