Raised in the flatlands of Nebraska, Jack first fell in love with the mountains and their trails while backpacking in Europe after college and attending graduate school in Vermont. An avid trail runner, he spends a great deal of time exploring (and appreciating) the trails around Truckee and the greater Tahoe area.
