A true mountain woman, Nina was born and raised in Norway. Whether it be on cross country skis or on foot, she found happiness and serenity in the outdoors at a very young age. She and her husband Lex moved to Truckee in 1994 and raised three daughters, sharing with them the ways in which humans can find joy in connecting with nature. Throughout her career as a sports medicine doctor in Truckee, her time adventuring on the trails has been essential to the work/play balance we all strive for. As a leader in the Truckee community, it’s very important to Nina that we continue improving access and enjoyment on the trails for all. And photo attached.
