Join our community of ambassadors and protect the places you love. Help take care of Truckee’s trails, paved paths, beaches, and docks as a Volunteer Ambassador, Secret Steward, or Virtual Fire Lookout. Volunteer Ambassadors are also needed to help out at the free Bike Valet at Truckee Thursday and Music in the Park. Everyone is welcome and volunteer positions are open all summer.

Sign up in time for the Kickoff Training on Monday, June 20th, 5:00 – 6:00 pm, at Truckee River Regional Park picnic tables next to the skate park and playground, located at 10050 Brockway Road. Facilitators from Truckee Fire, USFS, Truckee Trails Foundation and Visit Truckee-Tahoe will be present. Ambassadors receive a Sustainable Truckee Ambassador t-shirt, name tag and a signup schedule for available shifts to rove trails, beaches, piers, paved paths and OHV roads.
